Pandora is an automated music recommendation service powered by the Music Genome Project. The service is operated by Pandora Media, Inc. Pandora Plus, priced at $4,99 per month, plays musical selections of a certain genre based on the user’s artist selection. The service can be accessed either through a web browser or by downloading and installing application software on the user’s device such as a personal computer or mobile phone. The company plans to launch an on-demand streaming service in the last quarter of 2016. All content delivered to Pandora will be available as soon as the channel launches its on-demand streaming service. Some selected content (at the discretion of Pandora’s editorial team) will be available on Pandora Plus radio stations service.
