Spotify neemt SoundBetter over. Dat maakte de streamingdienst vandaag bekend. SoundBetter is een online marktplaats die musici, producers, dj’s, componisten, technici e.d. met elkaar in contact brengt. De functionaliteit van Soundbetter gaat deel uit maken van Spotify for Artists. Voor een aantal opties van SoundBetter moet betaald worden. Dat zal waarschijnlijk na de overname door Spotify zo blijven.
“SoundBetter offers the most comprehensive global marketplace for music and audio production professionals for hire in the world along with a member community spanning 176 countries and 14,000 cities worldwide,” aldus SoundBetter CEO Shachar Gilad. “We are excited to benefit from Spotify’s global scale, resources, and vision to expand our network and drive more economic opportunities for artists of all levels.”
SoundBetter, dat werd opgericht in 2012, zal gaan opereren onder de vlag van Spotify for Artists, maar zal ook als op zich zelf staande dienst beschikbaar blijven.
