Pop round is a nationwide touring festival that takes place every autumn from September to November in some XNUMX cities across the country. The Popronde is the opportunity for (still) unknown bands to present themselves outside their own region and to gain intensive touring and playing experience. The programming is not tied to a music style and provides an overview of what is happening in the field of live music - outside the mainstream - in the Netherlands.

Last night on 3FM the selection announced of Popronde 2018. This year too, some 150 bands travel throughout the Netherlands to perform in cafes, galleries, theaters, record stores and clubs in about XNUMX cities. And again this year you can admire some of our customers live during this spectacle. We congratulate Dan Hair, Juneville, Maggie Brown, Nieuweground, No Man's Valley, Switch Bones and The Ten Bells on their selection!

Aïcha Cherif on Pinkpop 2018

The line-up of Pinkpop 2018 was announced today in Paradiso in Amsterdam. Like every year, it was exciting which bands and artists are on the program this year. We are proud to announce that - after The Ten Bells and Jick Munro & The Amazing Laserbeams - one of our customers is once again represented this year: Aïcha Cherif.

Aïcha is with her band on 15 June next at the festival in Landgraaf.

Ragtime Rumors and Tamarin Desert in the Nu or Never final

Last Saturday the six finalists of the Limburg pop competition Nu of Nooit were announced in Maastricht. The results of this competition are eagerly awaited every year, as the winner may open the next edition of Pinkpop.

This year's six finalists include two of our clients: Tamarin Desert and The Ragtime Rumors. The latter recently released the EP “Love & Lust" from. The other finalists are Vortex Surfer, Walden, Uncle Harry and Antikythera.

The six finalists will compete on Saturday 9 December next in Poppodium Volt in Sittard for the title and of course the coveted main prize: a performance at Pinkpop 2018. In addition to the place at Pinkpop, the winner will be shown at various Limburg festivals and all preparations will be recorded in a documentary. Naturally, WM Digital Services sponsors this year for free again online distribution of an EP or album for the winner.

New video Madi Hermens: “Here Comes the Bride”

After saying goodbye to the band MADI named her earlier that year, Madi Hermens released her 2015 in October. first solo EP from: “Parallel Universe”.

A beautiful video clip has now been released for the song “Here Comes the Bride” from that EP. Madi also announced today that she will return to the Pinkpop Festival on June 11, after five years, to play in the 'Garden of Love'.

Cherry Darling to final Now or Never 2012

Last Saturday, the finalists of Nu of Nooit 2012 were announced. Like every year, the winner of this Limburg band competition deserves a place at Pinkpop. Last year the honor fell to MADI, for whom WM Digital Services released the single “I still do”. distributed.

Also this year some of the bands we collaborate with have reached the final: finalist Solid Sun was previously seen live during Geen GeDonder in the Nieuwe Nor in Heerlen, for Hofbuskers producer InnerAct we supported the distribution of the mixtape “Planet Acts” and for Cherry Darling - also a finalist of Nu of Never 2012 - we handled the digital distribution of two releases.

The other finalists are Major Tom, Life's Electric and Mary Shade. The final of Nu of Nooit takes place on February 26th in the Parkstad Limburg Theater in Heerlen.
